Good afternoon, IPA families,

Please find updates below for the coming weeks at IPA:

Spring MAP Testing:

Spring MAP testing will begin on Monday, April 29. Each grade level will be testing on different days at various times. Please remind students that these tests are used as benchmarks of their progress. Students in 5-8 will have these test results used for accelerated math placements. It is important that all students try thier very best on these tests so that we can have an accurate summary of their abilities.

Student Registration:

Kindergarten and new student registration closes on May 1, 2024. Returning student registration closes on May 30, 2024.

Día del Niño:

PTA will be hosting Día del Niño this Friday at IPA. Please see the flyer attached for event details.

Early Dismissal:

There is an early dismissal on Monday, May 6. Students will be dismissed from school at 12:35 p.m.

5th Grade Transition Night:

Fifth grade transition night will be on Tuesday, May 14. Our transition night will include an informative presentation about 6-8 programming and expectations, teacher meet and greet, and a tour of the 6-8 building.

8th Grade Promotion:

Eighth grade promotion will be at 8:00 a.m. on May 29 in the IPA gym. More information will be sent directly to eight grade families in the coming weeks regarding tickets, etc.

8th Grade Trip:

Our eighth grade students will be taking a class trip to Allerton 4H on Thursday, May 23. This trip will be a full day fieldtrip for our studnets. A permission slip and safety waiver will be sent home to all eighth grade studnts in the coming week.

Last Day of Student Attendance:

We anticipate the last day of student attendance for this school year as May 30, 2024. This still requires Board approval but we hope that no other emergency days will be needed.

2024-2025 Supply Lists:

Supply lists for the upcoming schol year will be available soon. We will share them with families as soon as they are finalized.

We hope everyone has a great upcoming week at IPA!
