Good morning, IPA families,
We hope that everyone had a great fall break! Our classes resume tomorrow morning for a regular school day. Please find important information below for the upcoming weeks.
Report Cards and MAP Scores:
We will be emailing report cards and MAP scores home to all families on October 30, 2023. All families in K-8 should expect report cards delivered via email and all families in grades 1-8 will also recieve MAP scores for their students.
K-5 grades are based on end of year expectations for students. Many students are on their learning journey toward end of year success, but you will see that many are not yet secure in each standard yet.
6-8 studentes are graded based on semesters. These grades are their midterm grades and reperesent half of their learning through the semester. Final semester grades will be calculated prior to winter break.
Red Ribbon Week:
We will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week at IPA this week. Red Ribbon Week is designed to help promote healthy, drug free lifestyles for our students. Please see below for our spirit week information.
Dismissal:
Starting October 23, all students will be outside and ready for dismissal at 2:35. We will begin the car rider line at 2:35.
Early Dismissal:
November 6, 2023, is our next early dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 12:35.
District Communciations:
The district has asked that we share the following information with families.
"Reading Around the World" - EL PAC Meeting will be held on Nov. 2, 2023, at Stratton from 6 to 7 p.m. The focus of the meeting is on literacy. Ten volunteers will be reading in 10 different languages. This meeting is specifically designed for our MLL families in the district.
