A continuación encontrará información importante para nuestras familias IPA:
Elegibilidad del estudiante:
IPA sigue el Manual atlético de la escuela intermedia de la Unidad # 4 que se adjunta a continuación para su referencia. Los estudiantes en los grados 6-8 tienen calificaciones cada semana los martes a las 4:00 pm, lo que determina si un estudiante es elegible para actividades extracurriculares la semana siguiente (de lunes a sábado). Si un estudiante está reprobando al menos una clase, no es elegible. Si un estudiante desea que el trabajo faltante se incluya en esa calificación, debe entregar el trabajo antes de las 4:00 p. m. del viernes anterior. El trabajo atrasado o faltante se puede entregar después del viernes a las 4:00 p. m. pero no se reflejará en la calificación de la semana siguiente. Después de las calificaciones el martes a las 4:00 pm, nuestra directora atlética, la Sra. Kinney, se reunirá con los estudiantes que participen en actividades extracurriculares para notificarles su inelegibilidad. También nos pondremos en contacto con el maestro del curso que el estudiante está reprobando para confirmar que la calificación es precisa y no un error. Los maestros no actualizarán las calificaciones para aclarar a los estudiantes una vez que no sean elegibles. Una vez que se notifique a un estudiante sobre su inelegibilidad, solo podrá entregar el trabajo para mejorar su calificación para la próxima carrera de elegibilidad y permanecerá inelegible para la próxima semana

Feria de recursos de verano:
Las PTA de IPA y Garden Hills organizarán una feria de recursos de verano para ayudar a las familias a encontrar opciones de verano para los estudiantes. La información se adjunta a continuación.

Entregas de alimentos para estudiantes:
Las familias no deben enviar alimentos a IPA desde los servicios de entrega de alimentos para sus estudiantes. Si una familia desea proporcionar comida de restaurantes para sus estudiantes, debe traerla a la escuela y entregársela a sus estudiantes durante el período de almuerzo. Los estudiantes también pueden tener el almuerzo escolar gratis.

Good Afternoon, IPA Families,
Please find important information below for our IPA families:
Student Eligibility:
IPA follows the Unit #4 Middle School Athletic Handbook which is attached below for your reference. Students in grades 6-8 have grades run each week on Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. which determine if a student is eligible for extra-curricular activities the following week (Monday through Saturday). If a student is failing at least one class, they are ineligible. If a student wishes to have missing work included in that grade run, they must have the work turned in by 4:00 p.m. the Friday before. Late or missing work may be turned in after Friday at 4:00p.m. but it will not be reflected in the following week's grade run. After grades are run on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. our athletic director, Mrs. Kinney, will meet with students involved in extracurricular activities to notify them of their ineligibility. We will also contact the teacher of the course the student is failing to confirm the grade is accurate and not an error. Teachers will not be updating grades to clear students once they are ineligible. Once a student is notified about their ineligibility, they will only be able to turn in work to improve their grade for the next eligibility run and they will remain ineligible for the upcoming week.

Winter Run Club:

Summer Resource Fair:
The IPA and Garden Hills PTAs will be hosting a summer resource fair to help families find summer options for for students. Information is attached below.

Student Food Deliveries:
Families should not send food to IPA from food delivery services for their students. If a family wishes to provide food from restaurants for their students, they must bring it to school and deliver it to their students during their lunch period. Students are also able to have school lunch for free.
